Thoughts on Batman/Any major superhero

So with Dark Knight Rises out and all, I've kinda had Batman on the brain.
Like many Batman fans, I have quite a love/hate relationship with Bruce Wayne. I love the idea. I love how he's actually possible, unlike Superman or Wonder Woman. I love the great stories- Killing Joke, Dark Knight Returns, Long Halloween. I love Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham whatever the third one will be.
But of course I have problems, too- most of which I'll wager many superhero fans share. I hate the way it never ends until DC forces a reboot (which they didn't even do with Batman in the New 52, incurring my wrath. Grr.) I hate the endless retelling of t
